Luke 4:10 He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully;

The Hebrew word : מַלְאָךְ Or (Mal’ak) is translated as messenger or angel. It appears 213 times in the old testament and is used in 196 verses. The Greek word: ἄγγελος, ου, ὁ Aggelos is translated angel, ambassador, envoy, and messenger. This word is used 176 times in the New Testament. I prefer the word Watcher or Iyr in Aramaic used in the book of Daniel. Whatever word you use, the bible is full of references to angels and guardians. Beings created by God to help men and women. The Idea of living creatures both good and evil in an unseen realm, has always filled my imagination. I first learned of this idea in C.S. Lewis book The Screwtape Letters and then later in Frank E Peretti's book This Present Darkness. Both in their own ways attempt to aluminate the very real activities of these beings.

In The Orb Pulpit, I too attempt to add the "other dimensional beings" into my mystery. My favorite character is Mishpa, a guardian angel of the Sterling Family. Pictured here in my photo creation titled, Mishpa Guardian Watcher.
